FAQ

Why is it important to RSVP?

Your RSVP lets us plan an accurate headcount, and it’s how we collect your mailing address. Once you RSVP with your current address, we’ll mail your official wedding invitation to you. Please RSVP by February 28, 2027, even if you can’t attend.

Where is the Ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony will take place in Auburn, WA. The exact address will be included on your official wedding invitation, which we’ll mail to you once you RSVP with your current mailing address. Your name will be used to check you in at the gate, so please enter it exactly as you’d like it to appear. If you’re bringing a guest, please include their name as well.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you arrive by 12:00 PM to allow time to find parking, check in, and be seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 1:00 PM. Once you RSVP, you’ll receive your formal invitation by mail at the address you provide, and the full schedule and additional timing details will be available on the Home page of our wedding website.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Yes — parking will be available at the venue. Look for clear signage directing you to designated parking areas; attendants will be on hand to help as needed.

What should I wear? What is the dress code?

Garden Formal Attire. Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so we invite you to dress in elegant, polished attire suited for a summer garden setting. Think lightweight suits or linen blends, cocktail or tea-length dresses, and dressy jumpsuits in breathable fabrics. For footwear, we recommend comfortable shoes that work well on grass and gravel, such as flats, wedges, or low block heels. Feel free to bring a light shawl or blazer for the evening and sunscreen or a hat for daytime comfort.

What weather should I expect?

Summer weather in Seattle can be lovely but changeable—expect warm daytime temperatures and cooler evenings. Please check the forecast before you pack and plan to wear layers (light shirts, a sweater or shawl, and a light jacket) so you stay comfortable from the ceremony through the evening.

Are kids welcome?

While we adore all the children in our lives, our wedding celebration will be adults ONLY. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

How do I know if I can bring a plus-one?

Plus-ones are specified on your invitation. Please RSVP only for the names listed—our guest list was carefully planned and we appreciate your understanding.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions?

We will serve a buffet featuring a variety of options, including Polynesian Island–style dishes. Please tell us about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

What should I do while I'm in town?

While you're in the area, we recommend spending time in nearby Seattle—just a short drive from Auburn—where summer weather is lovely and outdoor activities abound. Consider visiting Pike Place Market, taking a waterfront stroll or ferry ride, exploring the Olympic Sculpture Park, or enjoying coffee shops and rooftop bars. If you prefer something closer, Auburn and the Green River area offer pleasant parks and trails for a relaxed afternoon.
